Organized by the Cameroonian consulting firm ETS Dassi Consulting, under the patronage of the Ministry of Water Resources and Energy, FIERA will be held under the theme: “Renewable Energy for Africa’s Energy Independence.” More than 20,000 participants, 150 exhibitors, and delegations from across the CEMAC region are expected to attend.

An Investment Platform, Not Just a Trade Fair

FIERA 2026 stands out for its strong business focus. Far more than a simple exhibition, it will feature B2B and B2G meetings, Deal Rooms designed to connect project developers with investors, high-level summits, and technical workshops.

The technologies in the spotlight will include solar photovoltaics, battery energy storage systems (BESS), biomass, hydropower, and waste-to-energy solutions.

The event offers a concrete response to Cameroon’s National Development Strategy 2020–2030 (SND30). “One of the distinctive features of FIERA 2026 is its investment component. We are working in line with our SND 2030, in collaboration with the Ministry of Water Resources and Energy, and with the support of the World Bank, to secure funding,” explained Ludovic Dassi, the event’s organizer, during the press conference held on October 24, 2026.

Youth, Women, and Local Authorities at the Heart of the Event

The event will highlight women’s leadership in renewable energy, youth entrepreneurship, and the role of local authorities. Special sessions will give mayors an opportunity to exchange ideas on decentralized electrification and access to international financing.

With FIERA 2026, Cameroon is reaffirming its ambition to make Douala a hub for green investment in Central Africa, ahead of Solar Connect Africa, scheduled to take place in Yaoundé from November 11 to 13.
